How Talkmobile’s benefits and SIM only prices compare
As we say in our full review of Talkmobile, we like that you get access to Vodafone’s full 4G network on Talkmobile, with the same speeds and coverage as Vodafone direct (read Talkmobile vs Vodafone here).
You can either take a 1-month or a 12-month contract. You’ll typically pay less per month on a 12-month contract vs their 1-month options, but it’s worth comparing here as there are sometimes better hidden deals.
Price-wise, Talkmobile’s plans on SIM only are typically towards the low end. They’re almost always in and around the cheapest ways to get on the Vodafone network (alongside ASDA, VOXI and Virgin).
Talkmobile are quite low-frills. You can use your UK mins, texts and data in the EU at no extra cost and they let you set your spending cap in flexible increments. But they don’t offer anything like data rollover.

Good things to know about Talkmobile’s SIM only plans
Your Talkmobile SIM package will be delivered within 3-4 working days of ordering. It will contain each size of SIM to fit any phone. Talkmobile don’t currently let you take an eSIM (but these networks do).
As with joining any mobile network online, you’ve got a 14 days return period to cancel your Talkmobile SIM only if you’re not happy with anything about it. Here’s how to do that.
You don’t need to pass a credit check to take either a 1-month or 12-month SIM only contract on Talkmobile. So they’re great if you’ve got poor or no credit history, but you will have to do an ID check to join.
And if you want to bring your old number with you to Talkmobile from another network, you can. All you need to do is follow their instructions here by getting a PAC and providing it to them at any point.
