All about Three’s 80GB offer
Exceptional main network value for money
(4/5, deal rating - full network review here)We’ve been handed this great £10 hidden offer from Three to share with our readers, which comes with unlimited minutes, texts and 80GB of full-speed 5G to use every month. Follow the link to their checkout:
It’s a far better offer than they’re advertising in their main SIM only listings. The closest you can get there on a 12-month contract at the moment is 25GB for £16. So this comes with more data, for less money.
Officially it’s a Lite plan. But don’t worry: there are no limits on speeds or coverage or other network features. It’s the full Three experience just like normal. You do have to pay £2 a day to roam in the EU.
At the time of writing, you can match the deal on the slower O2 network. But otherwise, you’re looking at smaller virtual operators if you want to get this kind of data, for this kind of money.

A great deal for video bingers and heavy data users
80GB is a lot of data. The average person in the UK only uses about 10GB per month on their phone, according to industry regulators Ofcom. This deal is for people who know they get through a lot.
For example, 80GB would let you watch something like a solid 26 hours of Full HD video per month on YouTube. Spotify, you’re looking at 1000 hours of high quality audio (that’s more than there are in a month!).
Most people’s usage will be a mix of lots of things. But if the above doesn’t sound like you, you might be able to save with one of our smaller Three exclusives, which come with less for less:
Overall, this would be great for commuters, students, gamers, file sharers, small businesses – anyone who’s out of the house a lot and wants to do data-heavy activity for entertainment or professional reasons.
Three’s network is geared specifically for big data users
In our guide to the best 5G networks, Three come right at the top. That’s mainly thanks to the fact they’re miles ahead of the competition when it comes to typical speeds (see independent testers Opensignal’s reports).
But their 5G coverage is extensive too, though not the biggest of all networks (that’s EE). Either way, it’s a great network for heavy data users, because it’s been designed to deliver fast, reliable data from the start.
And where there isn’t 5G, Three’s 4G has come on leaps and bounds too. Speeds are second only to EE. And coverage has made massive improvements, even in rural areas (it’s still worth checking though).
You can also get the 80GB plan on an eSIM. And features like WiFi calling are excellent on Three (as is VoLTE / 4G calling). It’s certainly not the case that you’re giving up a lot to get a cheap deal here.
