We think ASDA Mobile's best value option on SIM only this January is their £24 a month plan below, which comes with unlimited data, plus unlimited minutes and texts on a 1‑month deal:

Even though it's in our pick of ASDA's best SIM only deals, you can actually beat it on price with other providers, including ones that also use the Vodafone network. See lower-priced networks' deals here:

If you don't want so much data, ASDA Mobile are also offering this £7 SIM, which includes 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts on a 24‑month plan. It's another of their best deals:

While this is a good enough deal to make it into the best of ASDA's SIMs, you can beat it for price (even if you definitely want a provider that uses the Vodafone network). Here are other networks you can beat it on:

They're also offering 3GB for £5 on SIM only currently

For people who don't need that much data, you might like the £5 SIM only deal running on ASDA Mobile at the moment. It's a 1‑month plan, which comes with 3GB data, unlimited minutes and texts too:

It's a good enough deal to get into ASDA's best SIMs but you can actually get a lower price for a similar plan elsewhere, even if you definitely want it to use the Vodafone network. See the networks with cheaper plans here:

We cover everything in our ASDA reviewRead our full review

In our review of ASDA Mobile, we said we liked the fact that ASDA share the same coverage and 4G speeds as their hosts Vodafone (5G is capped on their unlimited plans) as well as having WiFi calling and 4G calling.

They sell all of their SIM only plans as monthly bundles of mins, texts and data. This can be set to auto-renew every month. That lets you switch plans each month without being stuck on a contract.

In terms of price, they’re generally one of the cheapest providers, as well as having some of the most competitive small data plans of all providers on the Vodafone network.

ASDA still include inclusive roaming in these 36 EU destinations. Their low-cost data add-ons and extra parental controls also make them great for putting your kids onto a new plan.

Your ASDA SIM will arrive between 2-3 working days after ordering. Your SIM package will contain every size of SIM to fit into any phone. ASDA don’t offer eSIMs (here are all the networks that do).

It’s your right as a customer to get a refund for anything you buy online. So if you’re not satisfied with your ASDA SIM you can return it within 14 days to get a full refund. Here’s how you can do it.

Since you’re paying for everything up front with ASDA, you won’t have to pass a credit check for your SIM. All you have to do is set up an account with your details so they know who you are.

To switch from your old network to ASDA while keeping your number, you’ll need to request a PAC from your old provider and give it to ASDA whenever. For more details follow their instructions here.
