Useful information about VOXI’s phone contracts

Their phone contracts offer brilliant flexibility

VOXI offer the newest phone models on finance based phone contracts (basically loans). You get one bill for your phone and one for your usage plan (mins, texts, data) which make up your monthly payment.

Your loan will be managed via PayPal Credit, not by VOXI themselves. They only offer 30-month contracts, which isn’t as flexible as some networks. But you don’t have to pay an upfront cost to join.

And you can make lump sum payments to reduce your monthly bill or pay off the rest of your loan to upgrade whenever you want. And the cost of paying back your device won’t go up during your contract.

Your usage plan will be on VOXI. All of these are on 1-month deals that let you change or leave your plan each month, so you’re not tied down for too long. In all, VOXI offer a lot of flexibility on their contracts.

You have to pass a credit checkRead more

To join on a VOXI phone contract you’ll have to pass a credit check. This is because the company managing your loan are paying for and shipping you your phone and need to know you can afford it.

They’ll check your history of making payments and your credit score to decide whether or not they think you’re a reliable customer. We don’t know how strict these are exactly, but any blips could get you rejected.

Since your usage plan is on a 1-month deal, you can leave VOXI altogether at the end of the month while still paying off the cost of your phone. Doing so won’t incur any early termination fees.

After you’ve ordered your phone it should arrive the next day by DPD if you ordered before 10pm. There are some exceptions to this, such as if you order on the weekend, so check their guide here for full details.

Finally, if you want to keep your number when switching to VOXI from another network you can request a PAC from your old provider and send it to VOXI at any point. They’ll then port your number over for you.

Excellent coverage, 5G access and some generous benefits

VOXI are a sub-brand of Vodafone and use their network for signal. That’s definitely a good thing as they have the joint-best coverage for calls (2G/3G) and very widespread 4G data signal in urban and rural areas.

They also offer access to 5G in the same 160+ locations as their hosts. Coverage in these locations is typically good, but they’re behind other networks for the number of locations and how well they cover them.

For 4G, Opensignal measured typical speeds of 25.9 Mbps on VOXI’s hosts, putting them in third place. Opensignal and Speedtest put typical 5G speeds between 100.6 Mbps - 146.19 Mbps with peak speeds of 315.35 Mbps.

Their speeds are very healthy. And VOXI offer unlimited social media data on all plans and unlimited streaming on some. They also offer WiFi calling (but no eSIMs), so they offer a lot for their low costs.
