From all the options ASDA Mobile have got available this December on SIM only, we think this discounted £16 £10 12‑month deal is their best. For your £10 a month, you get 100GB data alongside unlimited minutes and texts:
Add up that monthly saving of £6 over the full 12 months and you’re looking at a total discount of £72.
In comparison to the rest of ASDA's current SIM only plans, it's one of the best. But it is beatable on price, even if you're set on joining a provider that uses the Vodafone network. Here's where you can beat it on other networks:

For a smaller chunk of monthly data, we'd say this is one of ASDA's best deals on SIM only this month too. It's a discounted 12‑month plan, comes with 25GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for £14 £8 a month:
If you add up the £6 monthly discount, you’ll save £72 in total over the full 12 months on the deal.
It does enough to get into our pick of ASDA's best SIMs but that doesn't mean it's unbeatable on price. Other providers (even ones that use the Vodafone network) can beat it. See lower-priced networks' deals here:

That £2 monthly saving vs full price will save you £24 in total over the 12 months.
Compared to ASDA's other deals, this comes out among the best. But it's worth knowing you can get a lower price elsewhere, even on other providers that use the Vodafone network. Here are other networks you can beat it on:

How ASDA compare for SIM only prices and benefits
In our review of ASDA Mobile, we said we liked the fact that ASDA share the same coverage and 4G speeds as their hosts Vodafone (5G is capped on their unlimited plans) as well as having WiFi calling and 4G calling.
They sell all of their SIM only plans as monthly bundles of mins, texts and data. This can be set to auto-renew every month. That lets you switch plans each month without being stuck on a contract.
In terms of price, they’re generally one of the cheapest providers, as well as having some of the most competitive small data plans of all providers on the Vodafone network.
ASDA still include inclusive roaming in these 36 EU destinations. Their low-cost data add-ons and extra parental controls also make them great for putting your kids onto a new plan.
