Out of all the SIM only plans available this July on EE, we'd say their best value deal is their 24‑month SIM below, which gets you unlimited data, plus unlimited minutes and texts for £35 a month:

In comparison to the rest of EE's current SIM only plans, it's one of the best. But it is beatable on price, even if you're set on joining a provider that uses the EE network. Here are the networks offering it cheaper:

It does enough to get into our pick of EE's best SIMs but that doesn't mean it's unbeatable on price. Other providers (even ones that use the EE network) can beat it. See the networks that beat it here:

What we generally think about EERead our full review

at simsherpa.com
(opens in new window)

In our review of EE, we said they have the best 4G and 5G coverage out of all UK networks, as well as having the fastest 4G speeds by far. It’s the main reason we think people would want to join EE.

You have the choice between 1-month, 12-month or 24-month contracts on EE. Generally, the longer the contract the lower the monthly cost, but you should compare here in case there are any special deals on.

EE’s plans tend to be some of the most expensive of all networks. But there are some smaller providers who offer cheaper deals on EE’s network (our favourite being 1pMobile) or you can check for hidden deals.

They offer different numbers of Inclusive Extras on premium plans. Their All Rounder plans give you one extra and their Full Works plans give you three. Their No Frills plans include none and some are speed capped.

EE will deliver your SIM card within 2 working days. In the package you’ll receive each size of SIM to pop into any phone. And EE let you join on an eSIM right away or switch to one later (read how it works here).

You have 14 days after the arrival of your SIM card to return it and get a full refund if you’re not satisfied. Here’s how you do it.

EE need to make sure their customers don’t rack up huge bills they can’t pay, so you’ll have to pass a credit check to join them. If you fail the check you can still join them on a monthly PAYG bundle instead.

If you’re switching to EE from another provider you can keep your number by getting a PAC from your provider and sending it to EE at any time. See their full instructions here.
