We think Vodafone's best value option on SIM only this June is their £16 a month plan below, which comes with 200GB data, plus unlimited minutes and texts on a 12‑month deal:

This isn't the very cheapest deal with 200GB data or more out now. But if you definitely need a SIM only plan that uses the Vodafone network, we think it is the best option. See the networks that beat it here:

We also like their £14 for 120GB plan

For people who don't need that much data, you might like the £14 SIM only deal running on Vodafone at the moment. It's a 12‑month plan, which comes with 120GB data, unlimited minutes and texts too:

There are currently no other SIM only deals with 120GB data or more on other networks that can beat Vodafone's plan here. Here are other providers' closest efforts anyway:

Their 30GB for £10 SIM is another good option

If that'd be too much data for you, we'd say this is one of Vodafone's best deals on SIM only this month too. It's a 12‑month plan, comes with 30GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for £10 a month:

It's definitely one of Vodafone's best. But it's not market-leading. You can get a similar plan on other providers for less, even if you need your SIM to use the Vodafone network. See which networks that are cheaper here:

How Vodafone’s benefits and SIM only deals stack up

Vodafone Review

Here’s what we think of VodafoneRead our full review

at simsherpa.com
(opens in new window)

As we said in our full review of the Vodafone network, we rate them highly for their fast 4G and 5G speeds and their great overall mix of coverage.

They offer SIM only deals on 1-month, 12-month and 24-month contracts. Generally the longer your contract the less you pay per month, but it’s worth comparing to get the best current overall deal.

Vodafone tend to be one of the more expensive networks, even on their 24-month contracts. There are a few cheaper providers who get full access to Vodafone’s network (including 5G).

Most of their benefits only come on premium plans. Inclusive EU and worldwide roaming is only included on their most expensive deals. And their Entertainment plans give you subscriptions to entertainment services.

If you order your Vodafone SIM online you can get your package delivered the next day by DPD. This includes every SIM size for any phone. You can also join on an eSIM on Vodafone or switch to one later (here’s how).

After your SIM arrives you have 14 days to request a refund if you’re not satisfied with it. Here’s their full explanation of their returns policy.

To stop their customers racking up huge bills they can’t pay, Vodafone make you pass a credit check to join any of their SIM only contracts. If you fail this check you can instead join them on a PAYG monthly bundle.

If you’re switching to Vodafone from another network, you can bring over your old number by requesting a PAC from your old provider and giving it to Vodafone. Here’s Vodafone’s guide to keeping your number.
